WILLOW COURT ASYLUM HISTORY TOURS
Join us on our all-ages history tour of Australia's oldest continually run asylum, still on its original site. Set in New Norfolk, only a short 30 minute picturesque drive from the capital of Tasmania - Hobart.
Our 60 minute guided history tour will explore the rich heritage and introduce you to the life at Willow Court, the buildings from past to present and most importantly sensitive content through our storytelling in a challenging environment. Our tours can create a bonding environment, allowing people to reminisce and help connect our past to our present. It also fosters creativity and encourages visualisation.
Our experienced guides will share over 190 years of combined history and take you on a journey through the layered history and stories that make our tours so unique.
This is a guided walking tour around the Willow Court Barracks precinct with some access points may not be suitable for people with restricted mobility.
All children must be accompanied by an Adult.
Tours operate in all weather conditions, so please dress accordingly. You must wear flat, enclosed shoes. No heels or thongs permitted on tour. A rain jacket or umbrella is a good option just in case.

MEETING POINT
Meet your guide at the main gates to the Willow Court Precinct, 11a The Avenue, New Norfolk, Tasmania. (Near Agrarian Kitchen)
Please arrive at least 10minutes prior to your tour commencing as unfortunately we cannot wait for latecomers.
RESTRICTIONS
Some of the areas at Willow Court have small steps and may not be suitable for people who have difficulty walking up and down stairs. Please contact us if you would like to discuss these restrictions.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Carefully review your tour, date and time prior to your purchase as ALL our tours are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you are unable to attend on the date of your tour, you must give at least 14 days notice if you wish to transfer to another date, otherwise if you miss the tour entirely, you will not be eligible to transfer and you will not receive a refund.
