OPERATION GHOST HUNT: KIDS BATTALION

This winter school holidays, kids will have the opportunity to be recruited as Paranormal Investigations in search for clues left by "Old Jack" - a mischievous ghostly warden at Hobart's Anglesea Barracks.

Learn Tasmania's military past while exploring haunted cells in an old 19th century Military Gaol with real life ghost-hunting tools and unlock "Old Jack's" hidden secrets, military style.

Our Junior Paranormal Investigators will have the opportunity to dress in military uniform in search for "Old Jack".

This is a 90minute guided tour and will be held in all weather conditions inside the Military Gaol at Hobart's Anglesea Barracks.

Please wear flat, enclosed shoes, no heels or thongs permitted on tour.

Our Operation Ghost Hunt is suitable for children between 8-12 years.  All children must be accompanied by an Adult.

Cost: Adult $40pp + booking fee // Child (8-12yrs) $35pp + booking fee

Duration: 90 minutes

Anglesea Barracks is the oldest military barracks still in use in Australia and is one of Australia's most significant historical military precincts and based in Hobart.

MEETING POINT

Meet your guide outside the Anglesea Barracks Main Gates located at 96-120 Davey Street, Hobart, Tasmania.

Please arrive at least 5minutes prior to your tour commencing as unfortunately we cannot wait for latecomers.

We take no responsibility for google maps, therefore please make sure you plan your trip in advance to avoid arriving late and missing your tour.

RESTRICTIONS

The Military Gaol building does have stairs and may not be suitable for people who have difficulty walking up and down.  Please contact us if you would like to discuss these restrictions further.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Carefully review your tour, date and time prior to your purchase as ALL our tours are NON-REFUNDABLE.

If you are unable to attend on the date of your tour, you must give at least 14 days notice if you wish to transfer to another date, otherwise if you miss the tour entirely, you will not be eligible to transfer and you will not receive a refund.
