Unearth the untold stories through one of Tasmania's most significant heritage sites - Willow Court on our unique "Walking Ghost Tour".

This 90-minute guided walking tour is set amongst the dark and atmospheric night sky, exploring the grounds of this historic site by flickering lanterns, listening to stories that will capture your imagination.

We take you on a journey through darkened courtyards and forgotten pathways with over 198 years of stories to tell.

Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this tour will keep you intrigued as the grounds of this historic site holds countless of stories and we will be sharing some never been told stories with you - exclusive to this tour.

This tour will be held in all weather conditions and is held outdoors, therefore please dress appropriately.  A rain jacket or umbrella is a good option just in case.  Please wear flat, enclosed shoes, no heels or thongs permitted on tour.

Our Ghost Walk is suitable for 8+ years and above.  All children must be accompanied by an Adult.  Our Ghost Walk content is of an adult nature, therefore parental guidance is recommended.

**This tour has been specifically designed during the temporary closure of the Willow Court buildings due to unexpected maintenance.  Our standard Ghost and Paranormal tours will resume back shortly.

Willow Court is Australia’s oldest continually run mental institution still on its original site.  It pre-dates Port Arthur and is located a short 30 minute drive from Hobart.

MEETING POINT

Meet your guide outside the Willow Court Asylum Main Gates located at 11a The Avenue, New Norfolk, Tasmania (Near Agrarian Kitchen).

Please arrive at least 10minutes prior to your tour commencing as unfortunately we cannot wait for latecomers.

We take no responsibility for google maps, therefore please make sure you plan your trip in advance to avoid arriving late and missing your tour.

RESTRICTIONS

Some of the areas have small steps and may not be suitable for people who have difficulty walking up and down.  Please contact us if you would like to discuss these restrictions further.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Carefully review your tour, date and time prior to your purchase as ALL our tours are NON-REFUNDABLE.

If you are unable to attend on the date of your tour, you must give at least 14 days notice if you wish to transfer to another date, otherwise if you miss the tour entirely, you will not be eligible to transfer and you will not receive a refund.
